Hi. Not too sure if its a common problem but I'm experiencing some problems with the application. Here's the list below, hope it helps to make the application better: - It sometimes takes up to 5 long minutes to "connect to server" - Re-routing sometimes take very long - Operations are very slow to respond - Sometimes in the middle navigation, it will get stuck for like a minute or 2 then resume (not responsive) - After resuming from a call and the app asks whether to resume, it gets stuck, no display but the voice commands continue
Thats about it for now. I'll check back if I find anything else.
I have problems with NaviCat. 9 times out of 10 the programme doesn't work properly. It calculates the route, but when I want to start driving it shows me a questionmark or "0 meters". Sometimes it finds my route on the way, but 5 seconds later it's gone again. I have good internet connection (3G) and GPS is working well! The simulationmode works well by the way. I hope you have a solution for this problem! I think this could be a great navigationtool for me!!
First of all, I wanna say that this is a great app! Thank you for making it!
I would like to make the following suggestions:
1) Have a button that sets the position back to the user's actual position. I've been playing around with the 'simulation' mode and noticed that after using simulation mode, when I make a new route, the starting position is where the simulation ended. Also, sometimes, the starting coordinates are off so having that 'GPS reset' button would be convenient, instead of turning the app off and on.
2) Have the app automatically lower the volume of the iPod if it is playing in the background when giving voice directions.
3) Text to speech (so that the voice names the streets).
4) More advanced warnings before a turn (for example, have a voice command along with the beep right before the turn)
The application is not as same as traditional big sized navigation software which has a map inside of it. But it offers iPhone user essential functions for directions. Besides it's route guidance including heading up information help user's recognition compatibility. Download
Please let me know your e-mail address. I want to send you the GPS comparison table for iPhone that you can post it here.

Hi, getting another problem. Can't seem to do a route calculation when on 3G or EDGE. I left it to calculate for 10 mins but no response.
답글삭제When the roads cross (e.g. from a bridge then circling down), the navigation will automatically jump to the furthest one and request "recalculation".
